The bodies of two Singaporeans are undergoing forensic examination after being retrieved from a volcano in Indonesia. They were part of a group of 20 people caught on the slopes of Mount Dukono as it erupted on May 8 morning. Three died, including an Indonesian. The parents of victims have sincerely thanked Indonesian rescuers for their tireless efforts. Singapore's Foreign Affairs Ministry has also thanked Indonesian authorities and the search and rescue teams for their efforts under very difficult and hazardous conditions, and is working closely with the families to facilitate identification.
