Chan Chun Sing on recognising contributions of SAF personnel involved in recent Mideast repatriation flights

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) has a framework to recognise all its units and personnel who have participated in operations and will similarly do so for the recent mission in the Middle East. Defence Minister Chan Chun Sing, who said this in reply to an MP’s question in parliament on Tuesday (Apr 7), pointed out that the mission was made possible by the collective efforts of many across the SAF and other agencies to develop a safe flight plan, obtain diplomatic clearances and formulate various contingency scenarios and responses.
