Down Syndrome Association to focus more on ageing clients to meet increase over next few years

The Down Syndrome Association in Singapore is looking to expand its facilities with more physiotherapy equipment and assistive technology. This comes as persons with the condition are living longer lives. Almost a third of its clients now are 30 and above, a time when cognitive skills and abilities typically see a sharp decline.
