Lee Hsien Loong to propose election of Lawrence as next PAP chief
Singapore's PAP chief Lee Hsien Loong will propose to hand over the party's leadership to his deputy Lawrence Wong at the next Central Executive Committee meeting. In his last speech to cadres as Secretary-General, Mr Lee says this will complete what he describes as a "seamless handover". The Senior Minister says this allows the government to maintain consistent leadership and rally the people to tackle difficult issues. Charlotte Lim reports.
