New Alliance for Action to come up with recommendations to better integrate foreign professionals

From orientation programmes with a buddy system to fair employment practices at the workplace. These are among suggested ways to help foreign professionals in Singapore better integrate with the local community. The Culture, Community and Youth Ministry is working with the business community to do so, as part of efforts to preserve Singapore's long-term harmony. Meanwhile, a new Alliance for Action group is looking at what more can be done to support foreign professionals. The group's recommendations will be shared later this year. Alif Amsyar reports.
