Website to show Return Right locations for beverage container recycling scheme
From April, a website will show where drink containers can be deposited in Singapore for the upcoming Beverage Container Recycling Scheme (BCRS). It will also indicate how full each reverse vending machine is. The recycling scheme requires consumers to pay a 10-cent deposit when buying drinks with a special logo. More than 1,000 "Return Right" machines will be rolled out islandwide by next month. Consumers can return bottles and cans and be refunded via DBS Paylah! or SimplyGo EZ-Link cards.
