Spotify, Claude recover after brief outage in US, Singapore
An Anthropic spokesperson said issues affecting Claude services had been mitigated, while Spotify said earlier on X it was aware of "some issues" and was investigating.

Spotify and Anthropic's Claude recovered after brief outages in the United States and Singapore on Tuesday (Sep 29), according to outage-tracking website Downdetector.com.
In the US, the Spotify outage began around 9.30am ET (9.30pm, Singapore time), with user-reported issues peaking at more than 19,000 before falling to about 1,000.
Reports of problems with Claude topped 10,000 around 10.25am ET before dropping to fewer than 100.
Users in Singapore reported problems with Spotify from around 9.40pm, with complaints climbing to over 460 reports at about 10.30pm before declining.
The number of Claude-related reports started from around 9.40pm and peaked at around 10.15pm with 360 reports.
An Anthropic spokesperson said issues affecting Claude services, including Claude AI and Claude Code, had been mitigated.
Spotify said in a post on X that it was aware of "some issues" and was investigating.
