SINGAPORE: It was the final day of campaigning before Singaporeans head to the polls on Saturday (May 3) - and candidates made every hour count.

On Thursday, parties criss-crossed the island with rallies, walkabouts and last-minute appeals to voters.

Campaigning must stop when the cooling-off period kicks in at midnight.
