Food support providers cite storage space, transportation and funding as top operational challenges

Food support providers have cited storage capacity, transport logistics and funding stability as their top operational challenges. This is according to a report by the Food Bank Singapore and the Institute of Policy Studies. Fifty-two food charities were surveyed, along with 25 in-depth interviews. With the release of the latest Hunger Report, operators are calling for more Singaporeans to come forward to volunteer and provide assistance to their mission of addressing food insecurity.
