Fort Siloso opens after-hours tour on Fall of Singapore for the first time
Fort Siloso will stay open at night for the first time, with a new tour of what defending Singapore during World War II was like after dark. The national monument was a key site in the British defence of Singapore against a Japanese invasion 83 years ago. Visitors will experience for the first time what the tunnels were like in the twilight hours. The National Heritage Board says participants will also get a sense of what strategic decisions needed to be made at the time - lessons that remain relevant today. Sabrina Ng with a sneak peek of the tour.
